Meet Our Teachers
You can join Ms. Diane for fun and exciting learning in the Cinema on the Mount. She enjoys cookies, crafts, basketball, and Diet Coke. When she was little she dreamed of being a singer. Ms. Diane is a great cook and you will often find her in the kitchen cooking for CHOW. She also serves on the Susanna House Board of Directors.
Ms. Kay teaches Sunday School for 3 & 4 year-olds. She enjoys reading, hiking, Dr. Pepper, and eating chocolate. When she was little, she wanted to grow up to be a detective. Ms. Kay also serves the church by participating in choir, United Methodist Women, Tranquility Tea, and the Children’s Ministry Team.
Ms. Kim teaches Sunday School for 3 & 4 year-olds. She uses her spiritual gift of Mercy to care for people experiencing grief and for stray animals. She enjoys gardening, baking and her favorite color is green. Ms. Kim also leads the Lyric choir and participates in the Sanctuary Choir and the Children’s Ministry Team.
Mr. Tom teaches Sunday School for 3 & 4 year-olds. His favorite colors are green and purple. When he was little he wanted to be a space traveler. Mr. Tom also serves the church by assisting with landscaping needs.
Ms. Mary teaches Sunday School for 3 & 4 year-olds. She enjoys playing the piano and travelling. Ms. Mary also leads the Joyful Noise Choir, participates in the Sanctuary Choir and serves on the Music Ministry Team.
You will find Ms. Susan in Creation Station where she teaches Sunday School through art, crafts, and cooking. She enjoys gardening, travelling and working jigsaw puzzles. Ms. Susan also waters the plants at SMUMC and serves on the Children’s Ministry Team.
